what is the freaking point???

so.. we discussed DOCUMENT the other day.. what is the whole point?

for me? i think it's the tale of two idiotic people who don't have the balls to tell each other where they stand in this relationship. i still say that they like each other. the guy lets her in his room and use his computer. she even bothers to use said computer. she trusts him enough to step foot in his room.

they have probably known each other a long time which is why they have this ease, but then the emotions come in. the story's based on the guy's thoughts, so we can see he's thinking about her. WHY? i wouldn't waste brain cells thinking about a person i didn't like. and i certainly wouldn't trust that person to be in my room and use my computer even when i'm not around. he even takes the time to read her documents. dude, if that were me, i'd trash them if they weren't needed. i'm not THAT curious.

her on the other hand. well. she did give fiction writing a shot upon his insistence. the story isn't finished, so she has every intention of coming back there to finish it. and why would she type it there already when it's not finished? she could just do a draft by long hand (nobody had computers back then!), then type it when it's all done. maybe she knew or hoped that the guy would read her documents and realize that there are feelings there. her form of a big gesture i suppose.

i know a lot of dudes assume that girls like them too much, but this one is just weird. he was already asking himself how long it would take him to forget her. maybe he's just scared of the 'crash and burn' scenario.

what i don't get is why they just don't come out and say it or why they don't know what the other feels. MANHID MUCH? i know the feeling, alright. i've been crushing on this guy for over a year, and i know he doesn't like me, and i feel pretty invisible to him. i'm still hounding though. :)) at least i can take a hint. i don't assume.

in short, these 2 weirdo 'lovers' are emotionally challenged. no balls, no guts, no glory.
